Stripper is the two-man sound machine of Dino Psaras and Marc Adamo. Drawing on a hefty knowledge of classic German techno, Detroit electro, UK Acid, NY House and Belgian NuBeat, Stripper is as much about mining these influences as it is to current trends and state of the art studio techniques.
Dino Psaras kick started his career as a teenage DJ in the seminal UK Acid House scene. It wasn't long before he was invited to go on Primal Scream's Screamadelica tour with Paul Oakenfold and Mark Moore. Shortly after that he was voted amongst the Top 20 up-and-coming House DJs in the world by MixMag. As a DJ, Dino has played world wide, from the streets of Berlin's Love Parade, to the wild Nevada desert at Burning Man and the idyllic beaches of Goa. As a producer, he has spawned dozens of singles, two solo albums, and another with trance super group Krome Angels.
Marc Adamo is best known as the maverick producer behind Product.01, which he formed alongside vocalist Rochelle Vincente. Even within the ultra-fashionable electro scene, Marc kept Product.01 one-step ahead of the trends. Their cut smash remake of "Heart of Glass" was glitched-out electro-crunch way before anyone in Paris got hold of a distortion pedal, and he quickly became the remixer of choice for some of the most respected and forward thinking names in dance, including Dave Clarke, Chicks on Speed, Larry Tee, Princess Superstar, Si Begg, Adam Freeland and many more.
Stripper present their debut single release on We Come In Peace with two choice cuts of wonky techno. More from them on the label next year.
